What is FW Timer?

I'm currently a bit of a Fish Wrangler addict. Being hooked [pardon the pun] you don't like to miss out on the opportunity to fish whenever you can. This means staring at the count-down timer on Fish Wrangler, pretty much constantly. Well, this isn't all that good, people expect you to accomplish other things.

What I needed was a count-down timer that was simple to use and capable of performing some function that would alert me to the fact that it was time to fish. There are ton of timers out there but none that meets my specific need. If you can't find it ... build it, seemed to fit the circumstance. So I did. The birth of the FW Timer.

FW Timer is a fully configurable count-down timer used to notify you of when it is time to get back to Fish Wrangler and fish. Activating the timer is a simple as clicking on an icon located in the Windows task-bar – beside or close to the clock.

It will provide you both audible and visual notification that the timer has finished, depending on the preferences you set. Audible notification is configurable to any wav file located on your system. It can also provide continuous indication of timer status with simple non-distracting animation. The exact time remaining on the timer is accessible by simply sliding the mouse pointer over the program icon.

FW Timer is also capable of much, much more and comes with a manual clearly explaining its configuration and operation.

FW Timer was designed and built by a Wrangler to be used by Wranglers, wherever they happen to be. Built and tested on WinXP and believed to Vista compliant.

Best of all it's free, just download, install and go. Give it a try ...

Interaction and Association with Fish Wrangler

Let's get this part out of the way, right at the on-set ... The program does not, nor will it ever, interact directly with the Fish Wrangler Application found on Face Book. It is not now, nor is it likely to ever be, associated with the owners/operators of the Fish Wrangler Application found on Face Book or Face book itself. It's just you and me.

Actually, it's just you ... ensure you read the license agreement.
